I received my bachelor's degree in psychology from San Francisco State University. Upon graduating, I entered a graduate program at Sacramento State University, where I studied psychology with a focus on behavioral neuroscience. In addition, I also have a master of science in cognitive psychology from Colorado State University, where the focus of my work was holding research groups, teaching interactive labs, and holding classroom lectures. I have an extensive background in teaching and learning, and I believe that having the opportunity to share my knowledge and experience with a new generation of eager students is one of the most rewarding experiences in life. I love taking a hands-on approach in the classroom where I'm able to help pupils learn how to practically apply their classroom material in the real world so that they're better equipped to enter the job market after graduating. For this reason, I also enjoy mentoring college-ready high school students, so that they're able to adapt to the university lifestyle more easily. When I'm not working in psychology or tutoring, I like to spend my time outdoors. Some of my favorite hobbies include hiking, mountain climbing, and snowboarding. I also like to spend time reading, playing the guitar, and learning how to knit.
